SOLAR PANEL APPEAL UPDATE There has been a magnificent and generous response to the Appeal for pledges of donations towards our funding target of £40,000 in order to be able to install solar panels on the Church roof.  To date 38 pledges have been received promising a total (including Gift Aid recovered tax) of £26,000.  Whilst this response is most encouraging we still need to be able to raise a further £14,000 towards the target.  For those of you yet to respond, please do so as soon as possible before the Appeal deadline date of 16 October 2011. If you have not received an Appeal letter and Pledge Form there are spare copies at the back of the Church.  Please think carefully and prayerfully about supporting this exciting and innovative proposal for the Church to reduce its carbon footprint.  Thank you.
