Christmas 2011 at St Mark’s

There is something for everyone at St Mark’s this Christmas: please join us for carol singing, nativity retelling, celebration, communion and Christmas lunch.

10 December – Carol Singing for Christian Aid – Fargate 2.30 – 3.30pm

11 December – Christingle – St Mark’s Church 4.30pm

14 December – Friendship Club ‘Carols in the Lounge’ St Mark’s Church 1.30pm

17 December – CTBB Carol Singing for ‘Action for Children’ outside Eurospar, Broomhill 10am – noon

18 December – Christmas Festival of Carols and Readings (a candlelit service celebrating the Christmas story) – St Mark’s Church 6.30pm

24 December – Christmas Eve Play and Crib Service (the Christmas story retold; for all the family, with seasonal refreshments) – St Mark’s Church 5.30pm

24 December – Christmas Eve Midnight Mass of the Nativity (first Communion of Christmas with Carols) – St Mark’s Church 11.30pm

25 December – Christmas Day Holy Communion (said service, according to the Book of Common Prayer) – St Mark’s Church 8am

25 December – Christmas Day Festival Eucharist (a celebration for all ages) – St Mark’s Church 10am

25 December – Christmas Day Lunch (everyone invited!) – St Mark’s Church 1pm
