7th May – May Day Trek starting from Bolsterstone. 5, 10 or 15 mile sponsored walk. 12th May – Busk Aid event in Sheffield city centre. Musicians and collectors needed! 13th-19th May – Christian Aid week – parish street collection. 7th July – Sheffield Night Hike, Lodge Moor to Hathersage. There are letters for those people who kindly took part in last year’s parish house to house collection during Christian Aid week in the pigeon holes at the back of church. |CHURCH ELECTIONS for Churchwardens, Parochial Church Councillors and a Deanery Synod Rep. will take place at the Annual Parochial Meetings. Nomination forms for the former and a nominations register for the latter can be found on the notice board in the entrance lobby. Who would you like to serve as a Churchwarden or represent you on the PCC? Are you willing to serve?
ANNUAL PAROCHIAL MEETINGS will be held on Wednesday 25 April. There will be a shared supper at 7.00 pm, followed by the meeting at 8.00 pm. We will be reviewing the past year and looking forward to the next as well as electing two Churchwardens and up to 18 members of the Parochial Church Council. This are open meetings. Please sign up at the back if you are able to contribute some food.

A NEW ‘HOMELESS’ HOSTEL Kevin Bradley of St Wilfrid’s Centre in Queen’s Road has launched an appeal for a new 50 bed hostel for the homeless.
