GARDEN PARTY on 16 June at 2.00pm – this year it helps to kick off the Broomhill Festival! Volunteers for stalls please see Caroline F and for setting up/clearing away see Pete R. Please bring donations of books and quality gifts to the church vestry. This event is fun for all the family with music, games, a cafe and market stalls. We are also looking for plants surplus to requirements for the plant stall. If you could bring them some time in the morning we would be grateful. MARK’S SOLAR PANEL SCHEME I, and all the Photovoltaics for Future Societies team at The University of Sheffield, would like to thank all of you who were able to attend the discussion group on March 26th for sharing your thoughts, experiences and motivations for involvement with St. Mark’s solar panel scheme. WARM HOMES, HEALTHY PEOPLE is the title of a FREE half day event on Thursday 12th July, 9.00am – 1.00pm at Sheffield Cathedral to provide an overview of fuel poverty in Sheffield and what we can do to tackle it.
