‘The Challenge of Religious Diversity’, Wednesday 18 July 2012, 6.00 pm – 9.00 pm

Dr Philip Lewis is a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Peace Studies, University of Bradford and Interfaith Advisor to the Bishop of Bradford. An international expert on Islam and interfaith matters, he will help us explore issues associated with creating communities where members of different religious traditions and none can live together peaceably and to mutual enrichment. Drawing on years of experience and research, Philip is eminently qualified to engage with this topic of vital importance for the UK as well as many other parts of the world.

All are welcome.

Tea and coffee will be available and there is chance to browse the  riches of the library.

  • 6.00 – 7.00 pm Coffee, tea and biscuits served in the lounge.
  • 7.00 – 8.30 pm  Speaker: Dr Philip Lewis.
  • 8.30 – 9.00 pm Time to chat, browse,  borrow, return library books.
