CONGRATULATIONS AND GOOD WISHES to Micky Fisher, off to University in Nottingham; Joel Hide to Keble College Oxford; Isaac Toman Grief who’ll be heading to York University after he has spent a year working in Clive Betts Constituency office and Claire Carlile who’s hoping to travel to India before going to Keble next year – Well done and go with our blessings!

THANK YOU A huge belated thank you to everyone who contributed in various ways to Christian Aid in May. We raised £300 in sponsorship for the May Day Trek and £1700 through the house to house collections. Our next event is the produce sale at Harvest…

HARVEST Please bring your homemade preserves and fresh produce to church ready for us to sell in aid of Christian Aid on Sunday 6th October.

SYRIA CRISIS APPEAL With one quarter of the population forced from their homes as a consequence of the ongoing conflict, the scale of humanitarian need in Syria beggars belief.  We may not be able to care for these persons ourselves, but we can give generously to enable others to do so on our behalf.  Please Gift Aid your donations if you are able to do so.  There are Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) forms available as well as envelopes, but please note that cash is acceptable given our arrangements.

OFFERTORY GIVING CARDS are available for those who give by standing order or some other means apart from the weekly envelope scheme.  Please collect one from the back of church.
