YOUR FAITH, YOUR FINANCE is a new website offering a place to explore ethical and spiritual issues around money. It helps us and our Church to make decisions, without telling you the answers.

MOVEMBER November has become the month where moustaches are sported by those wishing to grow them to raise funds and awareness for men’s health issues. As part of this Geoff Fisher has joined a group of work colleagues with a view to looking less ugly and careworn by shaving off his beard to grow a ‘mo’ during Movember. You can support this very worthwhile cause by making a donation on the Movember website; just search for Movember, select ‘Donate’ then search for Geoff Fisher. Alternatively Geoff has a sponsorship form and will be around to receive support in this way.
LOOKING AFTER THE PENNIES The ‘New Roots’ shops on Glossop Road and Spital Hill need a new treasurer. It’s not a huge job, by any stretch, and it would help to support a truly excellent business that continues to show that it is possible for retail to be a force for good, and not just a vehicle for profit-chasing and exploitation. If there’s anyone who’s interested, please get in touch with Gary (0114 2316031 firstname.lastname@example.org)
