Weekly Update – 22nd December 2013

CHRISTMAS EVE NATIVITY PLAY revisits how Christmas has been celebrated (or ignored!) through the centuries.  A joyous occasion for all ages.  The play will start at 6.00 pm, with refreshments and children’s activities available from 5.30 pm.

PLEDGE APPEAL FOR 2014 – To date 50 responses have been received with total extra giving of £6,350 (including recovered tax) promised in a full year towards the £13,400 required. The responses include 3 new pledges and 31 increases.  This is a very encouraging start to the 2014 Pledge Appeal and grateful thanks to all who have responded so far.  Clearly we have some way to go in order to have sufficient income next year to maintain the work and mission of the Church at existing levels.  Consequently, if you have not done so please return your pledge form as soon as possible (even if you are unable to increase your giving).  Spare Pledge Appeal packs including a pledge form are available at the back of the Church.  Thanks, David Ryder, Treasurer.
