Please see the flyers at the back and help us out with what promises to be a spectacular Broomhill Festival this year!ORGAN RECITAL Friday 1 May: to give thanks for all those involved in the organ restoration.  Entrance is free, but you will need a ticket – please see Briony.

CHRISTENING Olive Ryder will be christened NEXT SUNDAY. Lunch afterwards for our family and friends. You’re welcome to join us! Please RSVP to us or jen_gallivan @hotmail.co.uk

CHRISM EUCHARIST at the cathedral will be taking place on 30th March at 7.00pm (not 7.30pm as on the Holy Week sheet).  All are welcome to attend, where there will be Renewal of Commitment to Ministry and the Blessing of the Oils.  Please see the letter on the board in the foyer for more details.

HUSTINGS Come and question candidatesin Sheffield Central Constituency.  This will take place at Broomhall Centre, Broomspring Lane on Sunday 19th April at 4.00pm – 6.00pm for the General Election on 7th May.  Please see poster in the foyer for more details or contact David Price on 296 0806.

STUDENT AND YOUNG ADULT WEEKEND AWAY! 24th-26th April at Ashbourne Methodist Church residential centre. £30ish. A chance to get to know each other, go on beautiful walks etc. See Ceri or email cerigallivan@hotmail.co.uk for more info.

If you wish to be on the Congregational List there is a list at the back with the names of those who have so far filled in a form.  If your name isn’t on there you won’t currently be on the list, so please fill in a form. If you only want your details to be available to clergy, there is that option.  The new list will be out after Easter.

PLANT SALE  Are you planting seeds or taking cuttings? If you have more than you need, and which are ready too early for the Broomhill Festival, please bring them to sell, after church on 26 April.  All proceeds to church funds.                     DR VAL WEBB Australian theologian and author, will give a talk, “Liberating Theology” on Sunday, 12 April 2015 at 6.00 p.m. in the Upper Room. Tickets (£5) are on sale after today’s service. In addition Val will be preaching that morning and this will be followed by  a Bring & Share Sunday Lunch.  Please sign the flipchart at the back to say what food you would like to bring.

PARISH WEEKEND  – PROVING POPULAR!Bookings are going well for this and places are limited.  To come along to what will be a wonderful weekend together, please book early.

It will be at the Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick, on 18-20 September 2015!  Please see the flyers at the back.

LEARN AND BOOST CHURCH FUNDS Join one of our Enneagram Workshops.  Some people bid at the Auction of Promises for a place on a Workshop.  We now have three planned with places available on all of them: 30 May, 18 July or 17 October. Come along and have fun and learn! (minimum fee of £8 each – donations above this very welcome to support church outreach and Parish Weekend).  A leaflet at the back of church will give you more information, or have a chat with Jane or Anne Padget.

PCN’S SPRING CONFERENCE is at Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church, on Saturday, 9 May 2015 from 11am to 4.15 pm. It will be led by Mark Oakley, Canon Chancellor of St Paul’s Cathedral, on the theme “A DAY IN THE FOUNTAIN: exploring poetry”. Book at www.pcnbritain.org.uk.

DIOCESAN VISIT TO GERMANY IN OCTOBER 2015 – COME AND JOIN US! The Diocese of Sheffield Hattingen Witten Link invites you to join a group visiting our partner diocese in the Ruhr area of Germany.  We will travel via coach and overnight ferry on Friday 23rd October and will return to Sheffield on Saturday 30th October.The cost will be in the region of £200 inclusive.  If you would like to booking form, or would like to find out more, please contact Revd Sue Hobley, 01709 872299, or email vicar@wathparishchurch.co.uk
