PERSPECTIVES ON THE EU REFERENDUM A CTBB meeting is planned for 6pm on Sunday 5 June in the Upper Room.  There will be short talks by speakers from our congregations on aspects of the EU, and time for discussion. Enquiries to David Price 296 0806.

STUDENT AND YOUNG ADULT GROUP We are starting up a student and young adult group that will take place in term time fortnightly on a Wednesday in the upper room from 7:30pm.  There will be pizza and some themed discussion. TAIZÉ PRAYER AT CATHEDRAL

A Taizé prayer is taking place at Sheffield Anglican Cathedral on Tuesday 26th April at 7:30pm. It is being organised by members of St Mark’s. There will be an open song practice on the night at 6:45pm at the cathedral. All very welcome. Mark Ansell

CHURCHES TOGETHER IN BROOMHILL & BROOMHALL AGM has been rescheduled for Thursday 28th April at 5.45pm.  The AGM will be approximately 45 minutes long and this will be followed by a joint churches choir practice for the CTBB Pentecost service.  All Welcome!  Please show your support for our joint activities by coming along – or just come and learn some African chants!  Sue

SHEFFIELD UNIVERSITY CHAMBER CHOIR – BRUCKNER AT ST MARK’S THIS TUESDAY at 7.30 the Chamber Choir will be performing Bruckner’s monumental Mass in E Minor, scored for double choir and 15 part wind band, along with a selection of his famous motets. GO A MILE IN THEIR SHOES – UPDATE As recorded on JustGiving, and with other offline donations, we have now raised well above £2,000.  This is absolutely fantastic!  So far, we have walked 3000km of the planned 4206km and I can’t thank enough all of you who have made donations via our GoAMile initiative – you are all amazing. FOLK FOR REFUGEE CONCERT Tanya and Simon would like to thank everyone at St Mark’s for their support and welcome last weekend for the folk concert. The event raised £1150 for the British Red Cross work with refugees and a good time was had by all, especially the performers! Tanya Ralph

STORAGE SPACE NEEDED Do you have any space in a garage or unused room, maybe for a few months, for a few packing boxes. Also looking to store a narrow bookshelf, a small dressing table and bed frame (stores flat, no mattress). If you think you may be able to offer any space, I’d be very grateful.
