SARAH COLVER WELCOME!

Welcome to our new Associate Vicar and her family!  There is a card for Sarah at the back of church – please do add your greetings so that we can give it to her! Sue

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT ST MARK’S! You have welcomed us so warmly and with such wonderful hospitality. Becoming the Associate Vicar feels very different to starting a placement as a curate, and demands a different way of attending to the community – so in many ways I feel like I’m starting all over again. But we are all very grateful for your support, and would ask that you continue to hold us in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to settle in…. Sarah, Stephen and Aran (and Ellie too).

HOPE FOR THE FUTURE Another chance to hear about exciting developments in the campaign TODAY at 11.30am in the upstairs room. A leaflet is available at the back of the church.

SOLAR PANELS FOR SCHOOLS

Sheffield Renewables has some Urban Community Energy Funding to install solar PV panels on schools but the schools are proving difficult to engage with. If you have any links with a school in Sheffield that doesn’t already have solar PV on the roof, please get in touch with julia@sheffieldrenewables.org.uk and she will let you know if the school is on their list. It could prove a good earner for them, as it has for St Marks. Michael Miller
