ALL SOULS; A Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance for loved ones who have died will be held on Sunday 30 October at 6pm. There is a list on the prayer table; if you so wish, please add any names that you would like to hear read aloud.

ASSERTIVENESS, SPEAKING TO AN AUDIENCE AND OVERCOMING PRESENTATION NERVES are three seminars at Hagglers Corner, Queens Rd, led by Piers Lane, whom some of the congregation will know, THIS TUESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. RSCM DIOCESAN CHORAL FESTIVAL THIS AFTERNOON at 4.00pm at Sheffield Cathedral. Festive Choral Evensong sung by local church choirs including members of St, Mark’s. During the service RSCM Bronze and Silver awards will be presented by the Bishop of Doncaster. All welcome.

SNOW DROP CLOTHES SWAP EVENING THIS FRIDAY 7.30pm in aid of the Snow Drop Projectwhich exists to empower survivors of human trafficking. Come along and pay £5 for a drink and nibbles and take away something for your wardrobe. It’s an opportunity for you to give new life to ‘gently worn’ but unwanted clothes. We are collecting unwanted clothes in good condition either on the evening its self or in advance. YORKSHIRE HISTORIC CHURCHES TRUST are joining us from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Saturday 29 October for A Day at St Mark’s about the life and work of George Pace, the architect of this church. There will be tours of the church and an interview with Peter Pace, George’s son and biographer. Admission: £15 to cover coffee, lunch, tea and lectures. BROOMHILL FESTIVAL Community Consultation: NOV 7 at 6pm Beacon at Broomhill. The Festival Committee is conducting an open review with all who are interested in the future of the Festival. St Mark’s is a key player. If you want to see the festival continue, come along to the meeting or let Jane Padget know in advance: email@example.com.
