WELCOME to Esther Gratze (from Christ Church Pitsmoor) who will be on a ministry placement at St Mark’s for the autumn. She will be around for some Sunday services and also midweek – so please say hello! Sarah C

PROFESSOR JOHN ROGERSON Friend of many here at St Mark’s and husband of Rosalind died last week.  Please hold Rosalind in your thoughts and prayers.  A private funeral will be held at Beauchief Abbey followed by a Thanksgiving Service here at St Mark’s on Friday 28 Sept at 1.30 pm. SHEFFIELD FOLK FOR GAZA/SIMON’S BIRTHDAY DO Believe it or not Simon Ennals has a birthday in Nov that ends in a ‘0’!! To celebrate we are holding a folk concert on Sat Nov 10 in St Mark’s to raise money for the hospital in Gaza city. More details to follow – save the date! Tanya & Simon

DID YOU KNOW that only 2% of young adults identify as Anglican. This makes our youth work all the more important! We need more leaders for all ages in our Sunday morning groups. Please chat to any of us if you think it might be something you would enjoy. Jen Ryder
