Children and Families’ Noticeboard

Use this page to find out how children can get involved at St Mark’s.

Sundays in May / June

15 May: Crèche/Godly Play/Lions. Gather at the back of church at 10am, before we go to the different groups.

22 May: A.P.C. Meeting after a short service. Informal creche space available during service and provision for children so that parents can attend meeting after!

29 May: Crèche/Godly Play/Lions.

5 June: All Age Worship for Pentecost. This will be a songs of praise service including some activities for all. Weather permitting, we will all be together on the Green. Please bring rugs/chairs and a picnic for lunch afterwards!

12 June: Gathering on the Green. Come outside for 10am to join in.

19 June: Crèche/Godly Play/Lions.

26 June: Musical Family Session: Gather at the back of church at 10am, before we head to the Upper Room or outside if it’s too lovely to be indoors!

B-Tots continues to meet each from 1-2.30pm every Thursday during term time. It is a lovely, informal space for babies and children to play while parents and carers enjoy a drink and a chat. We often end with a few minutes of singing together.

16-18 September Parish Weekend – Book your place!

There is lots going on for all ages during this weekend. We need to have a clear idea of numbers by July, so please have a look at the details and booking form on our website or pick up a leaflet in church on Sunday and get your booking in.

Start Times/Places

Creche/Godly Play/Lions:  Gather at the back at church at 10am.  We will move in to groups early in the service, and return in time for the Eucharist.

Gathering on the Green:  Come out to the Green for a 10am start.  There will be an opportunity to go in to church for the Eucharist.

T-Time Services: Come along at 4pm.  Location will be confirmed nearer the date.

As we move to offer crèche, Godly Play and Lions more often, it would be fantastic to hear from anybody who would be able to volunteer for one of these teams.  The current group of volunteers have done a fantastic job with getting groups re-started after lockdown.  As we move forward, more help will be needed to make sure that we can continue to offer the best Sunday morning experience possible.
