As many of you know, Rosie had been a member of St Mark’s for several years and was on the PCC until she had to stand down due to ill health. She was a woman whose faith was inspirational and she will be sorely missed. Details of Rosie’s funeral will be published in the blue sheet. Sue

|THANK YOU FROM SYRLJ We supported the work of the South Yorkshire Refugee Law and Justice at our Carol Service on Sunday. Gina Clayton, its Chair, expressed that “this seems particularly important to me as following the closure of the Northern Refugee Centre there is a risk of loss of faith in refugee organisations. This gesture from St Mark’s shows that people are willing to support us, and of course the actual money will be extremely useful. Being small as we are, every penny really does count.” Gina Clayton
THANK YOU so very much to everyone who donated items (practical and simply nice) and shoeboxes to the GATEWAY PROTECTION PROGRAMME. We have 90 in total which they are really appreciative of.
They will be given to a mixture of those seeking asylum and those with refugee status of all ages who Gateway has contact with. Thank you very much indeed. Rosie Hunt
MANY THANKS to all who contributed to the PHASE stall on Sunday 13th December. We raised an amazing £450!! Dilys Noble
