OUR ANNUAL PAROCHIAL CHURCH MEETINGS (APCM) will be held straight after a shortened morning service on Sunday 25 October (at about 11am) and will also be held via Zoom.  The notices which are pinned to the church door may be viewed here and here. Everyone is welcome to join us but only those on the Electoral Roll may vote or stand for PCC.  Please do consider standing for PCC as it is one way of having a voice in how the church makes decisions.  Please talk to either of the churchwardens for more information.  Sue

CHURCHWARDENS ELECTION With our APCM happening, most unusually, in Oct the election of Churchwardens will be followed by an unusual Archdeacon’s Service!  This will be held in our Deanery,  at St John’s Church, Ranmoor on 2 Nov.   Since places are very restricted we won’t be able to be there in person to support our Churchwardens, but please do pray for them especially in these very challenging times. Sue

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was overwhelmed by the love, care and kindness that surrounded me during my final service at St Mark’s last Sunday. Thank you for the many thoughtful gifts and for the very generous cheque which I hope to spend on a new sofa: every time I sit down to relax, all wrapped up in my prayer shawl, I’ll remember you all! Stephen and Aran would also like to add their thanks for their cards and book tokens. We are truly grateful and have been so blessed by our time at St Mark’s. Please keep in touch if you’d like to – I’m keeping the same mobile phone number (Sarah in the office has it). Sarah C
