PACEM POSTCARD PILGRIMAGE –  We were missing the regular Taizé in Sheffield community vibe – experienced primarily in the bring and share meals prior to the Taizé prayer. For obvious reasons, currently we are unable to share meals together as one big group. Howeverwe would like to suggest an alternative taking place in the first few weeks of September. We have put together a sign-up sheet so that we can pass on the spirit of community between each other, 2 households at a time! Click here for full details and sign up, it would be great to see as many signed up as possible! Any questions, get in touch. Oli Giles

GATHERINGS ON THE GREEN – Please watch this space for news and dates of further gatherings for family worship on the greenSarah C.

SUNFLOWER LANYARDS You may notice some people in church or out and about wearing a green lanyard with yellow sunflowers on. This is a discreet way some people might show that they are exempt from wearing a face mask and/or they have a hidden disability. They can be bought online or are often given away for free in larger supermarkets. Sarah R  Neck lanyard with sunflower pictures

SERMONS  Whilst we undertook our pilgrimage at home during August, each person shared a reflection about their favourite or much loved place, possibly a place that helps them feel closer or connected to God. If you would like to listen to an alternative sermon linked to the lectionary readings, you might consider accessing the video sermons being offered by The Bishop of Sheffield’s senior staff. These are still available and can be found at https://www.sheffield.anglican.org/video-sermons     The Clergy Team
