The Sheffield May Day Trek is an annual sponsored walk to raise money for Christian Aid and CAFOD. It began 30 yrs ago and with the associated night hike raises around £15,000 each year for the two charities! The money raised is used by both charities to support long term development projects.
As usual, CHRISTIAN AID will be singing carols in Fargate at the end of Norfolk Row on Saturday December 8. This is a jolly occasion and an important witness by the combined churches in Sheffield to what we think is important at Christmas. The St. Mark’s slot is 2.30 –
