We are currently recruiting for two vacancies within our team:
Liberal Theologian (priest)
We are looking for a priest with relevant experience: to complement the St Mark’s team, someone with excellent communication skills who is interested in helping people grow in faith, social action and leadership within a vibrant liberal church; to support Sunday Services and a minimum of two additional days each week to include occasional offices.
We offer: an attractive four bedroomed house within the parish in which we would expect this person to live, expenses and a part-time stipend. St Marks’ diverse parish includes a teaching hospital, two Universities and a large multi-racial housing estate, near to Sheffield City Centre. We are a supportive staff team and encourage healthy patterns of work.
Time frame: we would be delighted to have someone in post in the early autumn for an initial 3 year appointment.

Children and Families Worker (Maternity Cover)
August 2021 – February 2022
Salary: £11.00 per hour
20 hours per week
We are looking for a thoughtful, engaged Christian* to join our congregation and offer maternity cover for the vibrant role of Children and Families Worker.
We are looking for someone who is able to meet with our current worker in early July and during February to enable effective handovers.
