Vigil for Unity – Tudor Square (in front of the Crucible and Lyceum)

Friday 20 January 5.30-6.30pm

In a time of division across the world, and as we say goodbye to President Obama, this is an opportunity for the city to come together to send a message celebrating diversity, and promoting equality. It’s about hope, respect, and support for all. A reminder that ‘we have far more in common than things that divide us’. A chance to celebrate our common humanity. Please bring candles.

Speakers include:

Louise Haigh MP Sheffield Heeley

Shahida Siddique CEO of Faithstar LLP and Chair of SAVE

Mark Hutchinson, Journey to Justice

Organised by Vicky Seddon and Jane Thomas
