NIGHT SERVICE Following the review, we will be trialling a new 7pm start for Night Service. The trial period from 5 Jan 2020 until 28 June. Feedback during this period will be appreciated. Cate

HOW CAN WE HELP HOMELESS PEOPLE? Many of us are asking this question, whether we see someone in a shop doorway, sleeping in St Mark’s grounds or coming into church – what can we do for the best?  The Cathedral Archer Project, Framework, the local police and Help Us Help will be coming to St Mark’s on TUESDAY DEC 3 at 7.30pm to help us think this through. Please let other local people know if they are concerned too. Sue H

MEAT: A THREAT TO OUR PLANET? was on BBC 1 last Monday. A superb, disturbing programme leaving no doubt whatever that if we stop or reduce substantially our meat eating we are making a vital contribution to the well-being of the planet. Worth watching on catch up. Michael Bayley

MONEY RAISED AT ST MARK’S During 2019 there have been lots of collections for many different charities. So far these have raised a total of £3,186.30 (plus some gift aid for some of the charities). Thank you. David Armstrong
