WELCOME TEAMS are looking for new recruits…  We know how much people dislike rotas but we get such positive feedback about how good our welcome here is that we really do need some more volunteers if we are to maintain this.  For more information speak to someone on the welcome team, to the clergy or Jean Baxter.

PHASE CONCERT a big thank you to St Marks Church & all who helped raise £1392.57 at the Seasons for Nepal Concert on 13 July.  This was despite much competition from a Presidential visit, Wimbledon finals, and many other summer activities.  Thanks to all who gave their time and talents to empower isolated Himalayan communities to have better access to health, education and sustainable livelihoods.  Dilys

UNIVERSAL CREDIT The Trussell Trust has found that Universal Credit is greatly increasing debt problems and reliance on food banks. Please sign the End Hunger Campaign petition at the back of church calling on the Government to improve the system and ensure that people have enough income to afford good food.     Faith & Justice
