SUNDAY LUNCHES MONTHLY At12.15pm, all are welcome to stay, cost £3 minimum 5 October, Harvest Lunch, Briony Tayler.

EXPLORING OUR JOURNEY Five sessions to reflect on what faith means to us: what inspires or challenges us. Does faith affect our daily lives? Enquirers and established church members welcome. CHURCH WEEKEND AWAY Following the success of our weekend in 2012, we have booked the Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick, for 18-20 September 2015. This is definitely one not to miss. For all ages and outlooks!

WE CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS is the conference for Christian Aid volunteers on 4 & 5 October at the Cathedral. Rowan Williamsplus workshops on worship, climate change, etc.  Cost for the whole weekend £70, concessions available. For more info email mgage@christian-aid.org, tel: 01509 265013.

CRC AUTUMN CONFERENCE Rowan Williams will lead a day on the theme, ‘Faith in search of understanding today,’ on Saturday 8 November. See CRC stall for more info. Places are going quickly so book early!

WOMEN’S PRIESTHOOD EMBODIED is a vocations day conference to be held in the Cathedral on Saturday 11 October.  Open to all women exploring a call to ordained ministry.  Further details and a booking form are available at the back.

BROOMHALL FESTIVAL Thank you to everyone who helped support the Festival by baking, helping out or just coming along. Although quiet, the day was a great success. Thank you!

THEATRE TRIP The next social event is a visit to Oh What a Lovely War at the University Drama Studio on 19 September starting at 7.30 pm. This play documents the events of the 1st World War in the form of a Pierrot show – tragic, and sometimes comic. Tickets at discounted price of £8 (£6 for concessions).
