A CHRISTMAS CARD FOR ALL On a notice board in the Lounge is a giant card, please write your Christmas message for the whole congregation. Cards from former church members will also be displayed here – please take a look and contribute.  Sarah R

POSADA CONTINUES!  During Advent, Mary and Joseph (nativity figures) are staying at different people’s homes for a night or two. The people receiving the figures often thank those who bring them by offering hospitality, if they can, perhaps a drink or a meal. Updates are appearing regularly on the church Facebook page! CHRISTINGLE MAKING We need helpers to assist in Christingle making for the service on 24th Dec. Helpers to attend Church from  3:30-5:30 pm. Anyone who can help out please text Rachel on 07800 788631. Rachel Vedder

CHRISTIAN AID CAROLS. Many thanks to those who join in the carol singing last Saturday, especially to Linda who kept the carols going! We raised in excess of £1,200, only a little short of what was given last year. This year, the amount is matched by DfID, so Christian Aid will receive double. Helen

 HOPE FOR THE FUTURE are looking for a new Chair of Trustees to take over from Michael Bayley who will be stepping down next year. We’d like to broaden our base of trustees, so someone from outside of St Mark’s would be ideal. CLOTHES FOR SOUP RUN A big ‘Thank you’ to everyone who’s brought items. Space is quite tight so we’re having to limit ourselves to coats (men’s), hats, socks, gloves and sleeping bags. Other clothes can be donated to your favourite charity, or spare bedding can go to St Vincent’s Furniture Store (please email info@svpfurniturestoresheffield.org.uk).  Again, thank you. Gary
