WILLIAMSON HARDWARE A planning application has been lodged to develop the unit in Broomhill shopping precinct currently occupied by Williamsons, together with the one above (Wealth Management & Growth Ltd).  This has raised concern that the lease of this long-established, community-serving, family-run business may not be renewed in late 2013 when the current one expires.  It is thought that one of the largest UK supermarket chains is looking to open a convenience store in the area.  To find out more and register your views, log on to www.sheffield.gov.uk and follow the path: Planning & Development > Planning Online > Planning Applications Online > enter code: 12/01352/FUL.
