SOLAR PANEL FUNDING APPEAL Following a positive response from Church members, PCC has agreed to launch an appeal for unconditional donations towards the cost of installing solar panels on the church roof. The target to raise is £40,000 and the individually addressed Appeal letters that were at the back of church have now been sent to Church members including a pledge form. Pledges of donations are invited – Sunday 16 October 2011 at the latest, please. Please think carefully and prayerfully about supporting this exciting and innovative proposal for the Church to reduce its carbon footprint. Thank you.

|INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE DISAPPEARED: Tuesday, 30th August 2011. Amnesty International and other human rights groups around the world will observe this Day by holding vigils to call for justice for the Disappeared. The Sheffield Amnesty group will hold a vigil outside Sheffield Town Hall at 4.30pm on Tuesday, 30th August. All are encouraged to come and support our fight for justice.
CHRISTIAN AID WEEK 2011 The house to house collection raised a fantastic total of £2,110. A big ‘thank you’ to all the collectors for your time, support and perseverance – every penny you collect really does count!
