We are so grateful for your many expressions of loving concern – they are a lifeline.  Recovery is slow and the Bishop has recommended more time before resuming public ministry.  Please carry on supporting Sue, Gary and Mike as St Mark’s continues to flourish.  With our thanks, love and good wishes.  Ian.

Mike Hunt, Gary Grief, and Sue Hammersley are immensely grateful for your support during Ian’s absence.  Please continue to contact all three of us with any concerns.

ALAN BIRCHALL died peacefully in hospital on Wednesday 26 February following complications resulting from his recent fall. To mark the end of Fair Trade fortnight, we are asking all you keen cake-makers to bake a cake, using as many fairly traded ingredients as possible, to bring to church NEXT SUNDAY  to share at coffee time after the 10o’clock service. All proceeds to be sent to Twin, a pioneer and leader of the fair trade movement, working to build better lives for the poorest and most marginalised in the trading chain. Why not support the important new venture on Whitham Road and purchase your ingredients from the new shop there which is selling Fairtrade food stuffs, home ware, jewellery and gifts.
