Rev’d Shan Rush – Assistant Priest

Shan joined the ministry team at St Mark’s in 2010 to undertake her curacy following Ordination training with The Yorkshire Ministry Course.  She was Priested in 2012 and has remained with St Mark’s as she feels it both nurtures and challenges her as she seeks to be the person God has created her to be, and to live out an evolving calling alongside her family, the congregation and the wider community.  Her vocation as a self supporting Priest is rooted in her primary vocation which was as a paediatric nurse.

He enjoys the interesting Architecture of St Mark’s and in part this encourages his faith and it is a great place to praise God.
