Enough is Enough: living generously in a world of need and plenty
This five week study course, originally prepared for two parishes in Sheffield (St Mark’s Broomhill and Broomhall, and the Sheffield Manor Parish) is designed to help us think about what it means to live lives characterised by generosity and giving. This is done by looking at and thinking about some of the people we meet in the Bible – a poor widow and profligate friend; a despised outsider who defies conventions; a tax collector; a widow and her daughter in law, returning economic migrants; a young woman responding to the most extraordinary calling from God.
The booklet contains sessions written by different members of the parishes so each in a different style. Each session includes a bible passage together with various ways of exploring or discussing its themes.
