Personal Creed

Statement of personal belief or creed developed by a workshop hosted by St Mark's CRC. |
I believe in God, Father and Mother, Uncaused Cause of all that was, all that is, all that will be, yet outside the constraints and dimensions of all universes.
Creator, Sustainer and indwelling in all beings,
Revealed in Jesus Christ, whose mind was, is and shall be One with God,
Who taught with God’s authority and healed by his power.
He was tried and sentenced to death by Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor in 29 AD.
His Spirit lives on in union with God and inspires us today.
He breathes life-giving love which we call Spirit,
So we experience the light of hope shining in darkness,
Peace that enables us to strive for justice,
Security that enables us to take risks,
Understanding that we may understand.
God is present in all nature and all people who seek
To glorify Him and serve their neighbours.
I believe in reconciliation, forgiveness and renewal of relationships.
